Bens Falls Retreat was created to share the breathtaking beauty of our property and the rugged Severn River with others. This serene escape was brought to life by Allan, whose passion and vision shaped the magnificent retreat you see today. Though Allan passed away in 2014, his family proudly continues to honor his dream and legacy.
Our retreat features two charming cabins nestled along the Severn River, offering anglers a chance to catch and release Murray cod and yellowbelly in their natural habitat. For those drawn to still waters, our stocked dams are a fishing paradise, teeming with trout, bass, silver perch, and golden perch—perfect for avid anglers and nature lovers alike.
One of the most treasured aspects of Bens Falls Retreat is our function center, an extraordinary venue perched on a cliffside overlooking cascading waterfalls. This center is more than just a building; it’s a tribute to love and resilience. Allan constructed it in memory of his son, who passed away in 2004. Driven by his mantra, “Turn a negative into a positive,” Allan poured his heart and soul into creating a space filled with purpose, beauty, and emotion.
Today, this venue has become a place where life’s most precious moments are celebrated. From joyous weddings and milestone birthdays to reunions with old friends or simply gathering to share laughter and good company, the function center continues to create cherished memories.
